We focus entirely on customs and excise law and their related legal areas.
We provide advice in this complex matter. In addition, we assist clients in disputes with the General Administration of Customs and Excise.

Jurgen Gevers has been exclusively handling customs, excise and VAT cases for more than 20 years. He started his career with a tax law firm in Antwerp. He then gained experience with an international law firm in Brussels and subsequently the largest tax law firm in Belgium.
He is the author of several publications and regularly speaks on customs, excise and VAT issues at conferences and seminars. As an expert, he also teaches customs and excise law in the Tax & Accountancy Management course at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp.

After his studies, Ward immediately joined an international law firm. In 2019, he made the switch to the largest stand-alone tax law firm in Belgium.
Ward advises (international) clients in the field of customs, excise and VAT. Ward has a particular expertise in the area of dispute resolution in customs and excise matters and assists clients on a daily basis in both administrative and judicial proceedings. He also advises clients on customs and excise legislation.
